P7/ S1 Transition

We have received notice from the local authority that the enrolment for our P7 pupils moving into S1 has begun. All Midlothian pupils will automatically be enrolled in their catchment school. For those of you living in the Mauricewood catchment area, our catchment high school is Beeslack Community High School. 

Many of our pupils attend our school, yet live outside of our catchment area. You can find your catchment school by clicking this link https://www.midlothian.gov.uk/info/879/school_places/128/find_a_school_catchment. 

If you do not live in our catchment area, yet wish your child to transition to Beeslack alongside their classmates, you must complete a placing request. You should do this online. The instructions for doing this are in the attached document FINAL PR Form Intake 2025.
