Early learning and childcare in 2026/2027

Midlothian Council are running a centralised admission process for the autumn term again this year. This update sets out the timetable and process they will be following. Please see the documents below for full information.

If a parent/carer would like to take up their child’s funded hours at a partnership setting such as a childminder, a setting in the private or voluntary sectors, or the following Council settings: Hawthorn Family Learning Centre, Scots Corner ELC, Vogrie Outdoor ELC, they should contact the childminder or setting directly.
